1.First Charge New TravelMate 252ELC Lithium Ion laptop battery
On the first charge, your TravelMate 252ELC battery may indicate that charging is complete after a short period of around 15 mins. This is to be expected - simply remove the ACER TravelMate 252ELC Battery from the laptop and repeat the charging procedure.
Your new TravelMate 252ELC battery may require 4 to 5 charge/discharge cycles to reach its maximum capacity.
When you get a new the rechargeable TravelMate 252ELC laptop battery , charge it until it is fully charged. Then, let your laptop run, without being plugged in, to use all of the charge in the battery. Once the battery is dead, charge it again.
2.Make sure to fully discharge and charge you laptop battery at least once every two weeks for maximum performance and long life.
